Refund Policy
Daily Deed is operated by PMTS, LLC as a software and services platform for verified 501(c)(3) charities. Donations made through Daily Deed are charitable contributions to the Sponsor Charity of the campaign you support, which is the merchant of record for your transaction.
Donations are final
As stated in our Terms of Service — and acknowledged by every user at account creation and on the donation confirmation screen — all donations made through Daily Deed are final and non-refundable, except as required by applicable law or as described in this policy. Because donations are charitable contributions to the Sponsor Charity, they are not payments for goods or services and cannot be reversed because of a change of mind or the outcome of a prize draw.
Erroneous, duplicate, or unauthorized charges
If you believe a charge was made in error — a duplicate transaction, an incorrect amount, or a charge you did not authorize — contact support@dailydeed.us within 7 days of the charge. Include the date of the charge, the amount, and the email on your Daily Deed account. We review every report; verified erroneous, duplicate, or unauthorized charges are refunded to the original payment method through the payment processor. Refunds typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days, depending on your card issuer.
If a donation is refunded, any prize-draw entries received for that donation are voided at the same time.
Refund requests for charity partners
Charity partners, as the merchant of record for their campaigns, may request or process a refund of a donation — for example, to resolve a donor billing dispute or correct a transaction error. To initiate a refund, contact support@dailydeed.us from your organization's registered charity-admin email, or open a support ticket from the Help section of your charity portal, with the transaction reference and reason. Daily Deed, as the charity's service provider, facilitates the refund through the payment processor to the donor's original payment method and voids the associated draw entries.
Cancelled campaigns
If a campaign is cancelled before completion, all donors are notified and the refund handling applicable to that campaign is communicated on the campaign page and by email.
Chargebacks
We encourage donors to contact us before disputing a charge with their card issuer — most issues are resolved faster through support@dailydeed.us. Donations refunded through a chargeback void the associated draw entries, and accounts with fraudulent disputes may be suspended.
